greendating.jpgOK not exactly the most serious of topics but there is still room for a bit of romance in this crazy climate change world of ours. Yes... think big gesture...think jewellery...think climate change with Treetwists. What are Treetwists ? They are small pieces of handmade jewellery symbolising two trees planted for a lifetime. So, it may be a bit of clever marketing but none-the-less it's not yer average shop bought thoughtless tat. The company promises to plant a couple of trees together somewhere in Scotland for every gift sold.

Their stuff starts at about £18 so as they say 'it doesn't cost the earth'...sorry about the pun.

If that doesn't rock your boat then what about a box of fairtade stuff. Kinda cool but maybe not for Valentine's Day! Mind you it has some Divine chocolate in it.
