Expansion of HomeAid Furniture Centre Organisation: HomeAid West Lothian Description: HomeAid West Lothian has been operating since 1987. It is a registered charity with the objective of relieving poverty by providing recycled furniture, clothing and household items to people on low income or in receipt of benefits. HomeAid West Lothian applied to the TWS Grant Scheme to refurbish its premises to enable it to expand the scale of its operation and generate a new income stream from the sale of goods. |

Transform: Processing of White Goods, Highlands Organisation: ILM Highland Description: ILM Highland was set up in 1994, led by the then Ross & Cromarty District Council. It is now a fully independent not-for-profit company with charitable status. ILM Highland has managed intermediate labour market (ILM) programmes including landscaping, insulation, and handyperson services for over 12 years. The Transform project allowed the organisation to expand into waste management, working closely with Highland Council to develop a facility for the processing of white goods.
