Description: The project involves the creation of 1.59km of all-user pathway linking Newbattle Bridge to Lothian Bridge and Lothian Bridge to Grove Farm. The path links local historic structures such as Dalhousie Castle, the Victorian Viaduct and the old weir as well as providing safe access to green space and the river. The walk borders the woodland and housing estate providing access to a range of habitats, many inaccessible without the pathway.
