presents a series of models (informed by available evidence on greenspace and health) which show how work to create, manage and promote greenspace can be coupled with health promotion programmes to meet national and regional priorities for health. These models highlight the potential for planners, greenspace managers, health practitioners and communities of working together to ensure that access to greenspace improves both physical and mental health and wellbeing and contributes to action to tackle health inequalities.
