This report from the Environmental Funders Network records a big increase in the proportion of environmental philanthropy going to tackle climate change, averaging 21% of green spend over the three years to 2009/10 - up from less than 9% in 2005/06 to 2006/07.

cashstock2This Tesco price promise offers one-off donations of between £500 and £4,000 are available to local projects that support children and their education and welfare. The Trust also provides grants to groups working with and supporting elderly people and/or adults and children with disabilities. Get your applications in for the next deadline on 31 March 2012.

Forward Scotland Ltd, trading as Future Balance established SustainableScotland.com just over 4 years ago and has moderated the content and encouraged volunteers and others to write articles that interest people. People with an interest in all things sustainable. Sadly the times are changing and the site could soon disappear.

A new feature with an all star cast is just out. Maybe not the big hollywood names but Nottingham people know this lot as real stars. Ecoworks has produced a short film all about its sustainable food project, might not be Oscar material but who's acting.
