Working Man..or indeed woman. SCVO's Third Force News announces that there are ready to star delivering Community Jobs Scotland as soon as the green light is given from the new Scottish Government. The programme that aims to provided 2000 jobs for Scotland's young people is poised for action ahead of the orginal start date of August 2011.As reported in TFN, this new employability programme replaces the Future Jobs fund initiative delivered by SCVO with funding from the UK government. The Future Jobs Fund was stopped shortly after the coalition government in Westminster took office. The Scottish Government was allocated £10million to deliver Community Jobs Scotland
Third Sector organisations of all shapes and sizes are being challenged to provide meaningful employment for some of Scotland's unemployed young people.
