The E.ON Sustainable Energy Fund offers grants of up to £20,000 to community groups and not for profit organisations who wish to consider and implement sustainable energy projects in their buildings.

arbroath station.jpgIt wasn't open for long, but the deadline for applications for cash from a new £1 million fund to help create new businesses and premises for community projects has been set for 1 February 2010. The Stations Community Regeneration Fund (SCRF) was launched by Transport Minister Stewart Stevenson in May this year and has been created to bring redundant or disused station buildings back into use for the benefit of passengers or the local community.

cashstock2.jpg The Scottish Community Projects Fund can award grants up to a maximum of £2,000, or half the cost inc VAT (whichever is the lower), for a local Community Group to employ an architect or any other building professional, to prepare a feasibility study for building or environmental improvement projects or employment or other initiatives which have social benefit.
