Wrap Scotland has announced the launch of INCREASE III (ReUse), a new £800,000 grants scheme. This programme is part of the Scottish Government's Zero Waste Strategy, aimed at not-for-profit community sector organisations to improve the re-use infrastructure and capability across Scotland.

The Scottish Community Projects Fund can award grants up to a maximum of £2,000, or half the cost inc VAT (whichever is the lower), for a local Community Group to employ an architect or any other building professional, to prepare a feasibility study for building or environmental improvement projects or employment or other initiatives which have social benefit.

Alloa Community Enterprises (ACE)*, has won the award for Best Large Social Enterprise at the first Social Enterprise Scotland Awards . Social Enterprise Clydebank , won Best Small Social Enterprise while the Breadmaker won Best New Social Enterprise.
