Scottish Engine Design Reaches Award Finals Print E-mail

A Dundee company that has designed a highly efficient motor engine is the North Region finalist for Shell’s Springboard competition.

Oxy-Gen Combustion Ltd, based in Dundee, have been selected by Shell Springboard in a competition that provides £40,000 to small UK businesses who submit the most compelling plans for a product or service which helps combat climate change.


Oxy-Gen Combustion's motor engine that will provide efficiency increases of up to 25%, with similar reductions in carbon dioxide and fuel consumption.


The UK final will take place on the 4th March.
